Efficient and ultra-low-power nonlinear nanophotonics

Concept of spectral translation - a near-infrared pump mediates translation of an input signal in the telecom to an output in the visible (Lu et al, Nature Photonics, 2019).
In a recent article, we show how nonlinear nanophotonic devices can be efficient, ultra-low-power, and connect telecom and visible signals together (https://www.nature.com/articles/s41566-019-0464-9).
